COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY*

Prior to your appointment

Visiting Palm Tree Skin is strictly by appointment only. Please ensure you have an appointment prior to coming to the clinic.

If you or anyone within your household have recently travelled to anywhere on the COVID hotlist and required to quarantine by the government, please allow 14 clear days before attending an appointment.

FLEXIBLE BOOKING POLICY

Whilst we hope that your appointment will not be disrupted by covid 19, we will continue to offer flexible cancellation terms. Cancellations are free out of 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of their appointment will be charged for the full price of the selected treatment. We are here to discuss any cancellation or postponement queries you might have by emailing info@palmtreeskin.co.uk

On the day of your appointment

We do not have a waiting area so please arrive at your appointment time. We will not be able to let you in before then.

The current government guidelines state that face coverings are mandatory other than where necessary to remove for treatments. This means you are required to wear a face mask before entering the clinic and should not be removed until you leave. Face coverings may be removed where necessary for treatment.

If you are driving to your appointment, please do so and aim to arrive at your appointment time.

If you are taking public transport, please adhere to the government directive of wearing a mask.

On arrival, you will be required to wash your hands and use an antibacterial solution provided.

To allow for safe social distancing, there is a reduced number of people permitted in clinic at one time.

Please do not bring guests or children with you to your appointment.

Please avoid bring excess bags, coats and belongings to your appointment.

The treatment room is cleaned thoroughly after every appointment. We have built in dedicated 15 minutes cleaning blocks after each patient.

During your appointment

The current government guidelines state that face coverings are mandatory other than where necessary to remove for treatments. This means you are required to wear a face mask before entering the clinic and should not be removed until you leave. Face coverings may be removed where necessary for treatment.

During treatments your practitioner will be wearing a new apron, pair of gloves, mask and face shield (subject to government guidelines). The treatment couch is cleaned and refreshed between each patient. Disposable couch roll and a disposable towel used for each patient. (Duvets or Blankets that are not single-use have been removed)

Please do not touch any retail items or products on display, we will talk you through any aftercare suggestions.

We do have contactless payments available for sales up to £45. However, pleased be reassured that our card machine is thoroughly disinfected and cleaned after each use. If you prefer, you do have the option of paying in full for your treatment at the point of booking or up to 24 hours prior to your appointment.

After your appointment

If you feel unwell, develop a temperature, continuous cough, lose or experience changes in your taste of smell for any reason within 14 days of your appointment, please inform us immediately by contacting the number on your appointment confirmation. In the instance of Victoria/Mandy or patient developing symptoms in the 14 days following their appointment, all patients will be contacted in line with the government track and trace programme. Recorded booking information will only be used in line with GDPR.

Palm Tree Skin understands the importance of our Duty of Care both towards our clients and our loyal employees. Every decision taken during and after the reopening will be reflective of this sentiment.
