Dermaplaning or facial scraping is a highly effective exfoliation technique using a small scalpel. Victoria gently shaves the top layer of skin and fine hairs on the face to remove the bright, fresher skin underneath whilst minimising fine lines and pigmentation.
This exfoliation technique removes the waterproof upper layers of the skin enabling the facial serums to penetrate deep into our skin.
Immediately after treatment, your skin will look wonderfully radiant with a more even skin tone. An extra benefit is that dermaplaning removes ’peach fuzz’, which is the clear/white soft, fine facial hair. Your skin will feel the smoothest it’s ever been!
Dermaplaning is the deepest form of manual exfoliation that consists of using a scalpel to gently scrape off the top layer of dead skin, resulting in a brighter, smoother complexion. It is beneficial to get this prior to other facial treatments or products as it allows for greater penetration and it creates a flawless canvas for makeup application. Perfect for your next night out.
The skin will look refreshed and rejuvenated for several weeks, however regular repeated treatments are needed for maximum results.
Brighter complexion, rejuvenation, helps remove peach fuzz (vellus), removes dead skin.
Broken skin, active cold sores.

No, although after the treatment it is expected that the face may be a little red and dry for a few days so it is important to use plenty of moisturiser, vitamin serums and SPF for at least 5 days after the treatment.
It is recommended to have Dermaplaning approximately every 4-6 weeks.
Results are instant with best results seen after a couple of days. You will see a significant improvement with a glowing complexion and smooth, clear skin.
Yes. Dermaplaning is an excellent facial treatment that works very well in combination with other facial treatments.
To get the best possible results, Victoria takes a holistic approach to beauty, treating your face as a whole, rather than isolating certain areas.

No – categorically not! Dermaplaning does not affect the growth of the fine vellus hairs and does not cause them to transform into darker, terminal hairs. Because of the sharpness of the blade used for dermaplaning there is no risk of the development of stubble also – this differs hugely from home razors!
